Last night we welcomed more than 90 iPhone developers to AdMob’s first Meetup event – a great turnout especially considering the event went head-to-head with the Presidential Debates! Luckily this crowd proved they have both a TiVo and a strong interest in getting together with fellow developers to ask tough questions about how to make the next great iPhone app.
The number of people at the meetup demonstrated the iPhone developer community is vibrant and growing. Attendees ranged from our high-profile friends at Trism, Loopt, and Pandora, to people who are in the early stages of app development and looking for tips and tricks. Take a look at our Flickr photo stream for pictures.
We wanted this meetup to be a casual, interactive event where developers could network and learn from each other - and we think we succeeded. We’d love to hear your feedback if you attended, drop us an email at: meetup at admob dot com.
We want to thank everyone who presented at and participated in meetup. AdMob is excited to keep working with the growing community of iPhone developers and we are already starting to think about future events, so stay tuned!
